Starbucks encountered strong resistance to its initial presence in France
when it entered the market in 2004, probably because the French consider
themselves to have actually invented the café
and the country was already home to several well-established
and reputable coffee chains.
Passionate about coffee, for many years they viewed Starbucks products
with suspicion, if not disdain.
Eventually, the people of France began to slowly relent.
There are currently around fifty Starbucks coffee stores in the country.

星巴克在2004年時進軍法國市場開了第一家店,但是不受青睞。
或許是因為法國人認為經營良善的咖啡連鎖店咱們多的是,不差那間。
他們對咖啡情意綿綿,若非用鼻孔檢視巴克的咖啡,這麼多年來也只是對其產品感到懷疑罷了。後來法國人不再固執,慢慢接受星巴克的存在。
目前星巴克已在法國有大約50多家的分店了
